  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing 

  • Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse 

  • Clinical experience in paediatric nursing 

  • Valid (NMC) registration 

  • Up-to-date DBS check

馃憦 Children and Young People Mental Health Services Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fast and accurate assessments to meet individual needs 

  • Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, including risk assessments 

  • Efficiently refer patients to other clinicians and services 

  • Act as a gatekeeper according to operating procedures 

  • Provide leadership and support to the team in the team manager's absence 

  • Deliver rapid interventions for those experiencing mental health crises 

  • Build strong relationships and offer expert advice 

  • Participate in local and national initiatives to improve service quality 

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff
